The two dragon type (The Sha’Kran and Sha’Ral) is the descendant of the first ever dragon existing on Nysh, called the Sha’Kranaraal which by their language translates into “Dragon of Nightly Sky” or a more literal translation could be “Dragon of Sky of Night”. This is why in their name Sha’ means dragon, Kran means sky (hence Sha’Kran, because they love to fly in the sky), and Raal, or shortened Ral means night (which references to the Sha’Ral typically being more active during the night.)
The Sha’Kranaraal was actually one dragon and the last of its kind on Nysh. Their kind went slowly extinct, while evolution was a swift action, so was extinction for some alongside it. While they had incredible long lifespans, they couldn’t survive with their slower evolutionary process this way. This one last dragon was particularly a young one, hence why there are very little information of it in the world, but there are still a few strange mentions of a dragon that fits the descriptions.
At the time, the people of Nysh found the dragon a magnificent and beautiful creature for its mere size already. The Sha’Kranaraal was a colossal being, which ultimately became its own end as well. The feature this kind was an everlasting growth, while they began life as a small creature, their bodies constantly grew with time, and with that they needed more and more food, which meant more effort for hunting and eventually they became omnivores as well by consuming nearly any type of plant life in desperation for food.
