Being one of the caretakers, Akko protects and purifies the lake in the middle of the Forest of Mystery. She is a gigantic turtle/tortoise-like being who lives in the lake, her role is to purify the water that comes from wells around the lake. Due to her massive size she is a moving isle, and is also considered the place where Noxxi settles within the forest. By some, she is also called as “the voice of the forest.”
Akko is a really calm being, she emits occasional deep murmuring sounds through the forest, though it cannot be heard outside the forest, due to the trees and the foliage. It could be described as a really low sounding foghorn, but it sounds more underwater-like, kind of muffled.

Her back is covered by earth and builds up a smaller grassy, hill-like environment. It is full of bushes mainly, but trees are also found, just not as common to be a forest, it is just enough that it feels cozy. There are also animals that live on top of her, Akko is always glad for some extra company, since she isn’t really able to move around the land, so apart from drifting slowly around the lake, she can’t really do much.
She is very communicative, no matter where she is, as long you are near the lake and are within the forest, she is able to hear you and is also able to talk with you. She uses a special way for communication, to be able to speak with any creature.
Due to having the most magic one is capable of holding on Nysh including the other Shalar, she contains the most magic, however she has very little ways to utilize it. This way she uses her magic to connect her mind to the nearby beings, within the lake and around its shore. She uses this way to be able to speak to any beings the way they can understand her, while also allows her to understand any others around her, no matter of lingual limitations.
She always listens, she is always there. She judges no one.
