Ihil’Shalar is one of the Caretakers of the forest. Since griffons do not exist on Nysh, his name is only based on him and his species only, which is basically a griffon-like creature. The picture below shows a pretty close similarity to his shape and looks apart from the armor.
The visual differences are that he also possesses two pair of horns and additional pair of smaller wings due to his body being slightly longer. To have a relative size comparison, standing on all fours he is about three meters tall from ground to top of his head.
Ihil is basically the caretaker of all that is above the forest and the foils of the forest. While his main domain is the sky itself, he isn’t “sky-bound”. He is also the fastest flying creature on Nysh, faster than the Sha’Kran themselves in sky-dive mode.
He is the second most occasional visitor to people outside the forest, thus he is adorned as well with several special accessories that were given to him as gifts. While he as well speaks the Shalar’Oma he isn’t exactly vocal or uses it much. It also good to know that he doesn’t seem to allow anyone to ride him or sit on his back. While there can be special occasions or necessity of it where he allows it, he just generally won’t do it.
While her outgoing look is rather elegant and somewhat serious, and maybe due to his sizes he may be slightly intimidating to some, he is actually very kind, friendly, and enjoys joking with people on his own way.
Ihil is the only Shalar who roams the whole of Nysh through the sky. While he becomes quite vulnerable out of the forest and at such distances away from it, he keeps himself at great heights and avoids contact with people or most beings. He may only land at a handful of trusted spots he knows of outside the forest.
