One of the Caretakers of the Forest is E Noi’Shalar, or in translation The Fox Caretaker, who is sometimes referred to as Noi. She is one of them who tends to focus more on the outer side of the forest, and in a sense, socializes more with people and other beings that is outside of the forest.
Noi, while she is titled as a fox by the language of Nysh, is only really visually similar to a fox. Her species is found on another planet that still exist to this day. They are relatively intelligent creatures on their own and are not equal with any of the animals found on Nysh.
Noi is decorated with a lot of accessories given as gift to her since the beginning, and she is often given a new one to change her accessories time to time.

While Noi is visibly could be confused with a fox, she is about twice as tall (while sitting) as an average human. Her skin and fur pattern is green with mixed teal-like color scheme. Her tail is about the same length as her body, the fur is more straight and less bushy/fluffy at the base and on its length, but about at the last third of the tail it becomes really bushy and fluffy.
Noi also possesses larger and longer ears than usually a fox would do at their own size. A mane-like fluff of fur also goes around her neck which goes under and along the chest part in a longer “V” shape down to her belly, this has a darker green shade to it than the rest of her fur.
Whenever Noi wanders out of the forest and visits a village or a town anywhere on the big island of Neyhro, she is always welcomed everywhere. Her role shifted more to keep a good connection on Nysh with its people. While she isn’t in need of food outside the forest, she is often fed by villagers and accepts their gifts as long it is something that she can use or wear, though she is often just given food and accessories from children to decorate her.
